    Our Panel

    All CEA entries will be judged by our panel against a criteria around the key characteristics and core components of innovation including differentiation, customer focus and impact.     Matt Connolly

    Founder & CEO of Tällt Ventures

    Matt has worked within tech innovation for the past 15+ years.

    In 2003 he founded a digital innovation agency which grew to become the UK's #1. He subsequently went on to build, and invest in, a number of tech startups.

    Recognising the opportunity to help companies better understand, adapt and succeed in today’s changing world, Matt launched Tällt Ventures – a market scanning and innovation company.

    In addition to spending much of his time travelling, Matt speaks regularly at conferences and enjoys meeting people who share his passion for disruptive innovation.

    Chris Potts

    Retail Business Development Lead for UK/Nordics, Alibaba Cloud

    Chris Potts is the Retail Business Development Lead for Alibaba Cloud for UK/Nordics and supports International businesses both around their interest in exploring the vibrant China market, but also in the context of working with Brands and Retailers to bring retail innovation out of China to support them in their local markets.

    Chris has 15+ years of experience with Cloud and Security - having worked in the past for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and most recently Alibaba Cloud.

    Lu Li

    Founder of Blooming Founders

    Lu Li is the founder of Blooming Founders, a business incubation platform for female founders offering a comprehensive ecosystem of products and services that give female entrepreneurs a competitive edge in building their businesses.

    Lu is the UK ambassador of Women's Entrepreneurship Day, a mentor at the Google Launchpad accelerator and part of the Techstars community leadership team. She has also published the book Dear Female Founder, now globally available on Amazon and Kindle.

    In her previous corporate career, Lu has launched FMCG products for Procter & Gamble across Western Europe and has worked on several consulting projects for McKinsey, BMW and T-Mobile.

    Alex Petit

    Alex Petit, Research and Insight Director, Landsec

    Alex passionately believes that what counts is rich insight, not big data and ensures the customers’ voice is put at the heart of the business.

    She started her career working for retailers like Austin Reed and Monsoon before joining retail specialist consultancies Management Horizons Europe and Hitachi Consulting.

    In 2005, she joined Hammerson and set up their first Consumer Research and Insight Team in the UK and France. After 10 years+ of working in the property world, she helped a consumer analytics tech start up with product development.

    Alex is chair of the ICSC European Research Group.

    Alex Dunsdon

    Co founder of the Bakery.

    Alex is the co founder of the Bakery, which marries the power of corporates with the entrepreneur ecosystem to scale and start new ventures. Clients include HSBC, Centrica, GSK, Deloitte and many more.

    Alex is also a VC for SAATCHiNVEST with over 20+ companies including Citymapper, Ometria and Mrs Wordmsith.

    In a past life he made ads and bought a mobile company for the M&C Saatchi group.
