    Twisted London

    Jungle Creations

Twisted London was launched in November 2017 as the first ever delivery only restaurant born from a Facebook page (Twisted). The menu features fun and delicious twists on traditional classics whilst also offering a ‘dirty vegan’ section.

What customer problems did you set out to solve?

Our flagship food community Twisted, which has over 15 million followers across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, is known for its unique and indulgent recipe videos. Frequently our audience engage with the content, commenting that they wish they could order the food created in the videos.

And so we set to work to solve this gap. With our customer at heart, we expanded the experience offline by creating a streamlined process where our audience can now watch a recipe video, click through to order via one of our delivery partners, and have the meal arrive piping hot at their door.

What differentiates your proposition from other offerings in the market?

Twisted London is unique in that we built a sizeable audience and potential customer-base first and then launched the delivery-only restaurant. This reverse engineered business model helped us to clearly define exactly what our customers wanted from the restaurant, including which meals they would most like to order, and so we could perfectly tailor our live-food offering to their preferences.

How have you proven that your concept has potential for impact?

We’ve proven the true power of social media to drive customers. We’ve shown that we’re able to convert our audiences from Facebook, Instagram and YouTube into real-world customers who are interested in a tangible product they can interact with.

Where do you see this proposition in 12 months time?

Currently, Twisted London is only available in East London but we’re hoping to expand the business with additional locations in the near future. We’ve also recently launched a Twisted Bar Pop-Up in East London, and there’s opportunity for similar offline ventures for our other online communities.
