What customer problems did you set out to solve?
Vodafone set out to help parents, have the reassurance to let their kids do more. Parents are faced with the problem of providing their kids with the freedom to explore, but within a safe environment. They want to know where their kids are at all times, to give them peace of mind they are safe and if they need help, they can get it. Other devices, are distracting and occupy attention and can engage their kids in the wrong way. V-Kids Watch gives parents the security and confidence they need, whilst giving kids their freedom.
What differentiates your proposition from other offerings in the market?

What impact has the proposition had?
Launched in Summer 2018 the V-Kids Watch immediately started helping parents keep tabs on their children in the holiday season. Sales are in line with expectations and customer feedback is very positive. Kids say it “makes them feel cool”, parents find it “extremely reassuring” and love the ability to have two-way communication with their kids.
What’s next for your proposition?
V-Kids Watch will look to develop more features that support parent and child interactions.
